| August 2008 Part of Windows on Main Street (WOMS) annual art walk and exhibition in Beacon, NY Starting out from the premise that art is a site of exchange, Megan observed the exchanges taking place on a busy Saturday at Beacon's Main Street Salon. She interviewed the shop's proprietors, patrons, neighbors, and guests, and discovered a network of relationships between them and the site. She mapped this network in the shop's front window. |
